The American Poolplayers Association is the world’s largest amateur pool league with more than 250,000 members competing in 8-Ball and 9-Ball Leagues throughout North America. No other organization in pool gives ordinary players a chance to win a share of nearly $1.5 MILLION guaranteed cash and prizes paid out through its national tournaments.

How does the APA do it? It uses The Equalizer^® handicap system to determine how many games a player needs to win to capture the match. It allows novices to win fewer games than more-skilled opponents to win matches.

The Chattanooga APA has been providing professionally run 8-Ball and 9-Ball weekly league play throughout Hamilton County for over 30 years! Currently, nearly 1,200 local members comprising over 218 teams of 5 to 8 players each enjoy weekly fun competition in 14 host locations. Chattanooga APA currently has 145 8-Ball teams, 60 9-ball teams, and 13 Masters teams - plenty of opportunity to play pool at any level!
